Holi Special: WR Runs Special Trains From Bandra To Prayagraj, Know Stops Here

If you live in Mumbai and have not received a confirmed train ticket to return home for Holi, Indian Railways has excellent news for you. The railways have started a special train from Mumbai to Prayagraj. Actually, due to the enormous number of people travelling on the Mumbai-Prayagraj route, Western Railways began operating a special train three days ago. Given the passengers’ issues, this train is being run to provide relief.

This train will depart from Bandra Terminus in Mumbai and travel to Subedarganj Station near Prayagraj. The number of this train is 04126. This train will depart from Bandra Terminus every Tuesday at 11 a.m. beginning February 27th. After around 30 hours of journey, it will arrive in Subedarganj at 5 p.m. the next day. Railways has just issued the schedule for this train for one month. Under this, this train will travel from February 27 to March 26, 2024. This train’s number will change to 04125 on its return voyage from Subedarganj. From there, this train departs every Monday at 5.20 a.m. and arrives at Bandra Terminus at 8.30 a.m. the following day, Tuesday. The train’s last return run will be on March 25.

Reservations for the special train have begun. Passengers can book tickets using railway reservation centres or the IRCTC website. This train has offered relaxation to more than just Mumbai and Prayagraj travellers. This train will stop at Borivali station in Mumbai, but also at Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bayana, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra Fort, Tundla, Etawah, Kanpur Central, and Fatehpur stations. Travellers from these places will have direct access to Mumbai and Prayagraj.
