2024 Lok Sabha Elections: Pune to vote on May 13
The entire schedule of the Lok Sabha general elections of 2024 has been announced by the Election Commission of India (ECI). Pune will go to polls on 13th May 2024.
As per further information from Election Commission of India, the voting will take place in Maharashtra from 19th April 2024 to 20th May 2024. There are total 48 constituencies in Maharashtra from where the general elections will be contested. The voting in Maharashtra has been divided into 5 Schedules, in which Pune is included in Schedule no 4:
· In Schedule 1-A, voters from a total of 5 constituencies of Ramtek, Nagpur, Bhandara – Gondiya, Gadchiroli – Chimur and Chandrapur will go to polls on 19th April 2024.
· In Schedule 2A, voters from a total of 8 constituencies of Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Yavatmal – Washim, Hingoli, Nanded and Parbhani will go to polls on 26th April 2024.
· In Schedule 3, voters from a total of 11 constituencies of Raigad, Baramati, Osmanabad, Latur, Solapur, Madha, Sangli, Satara, Ratnagiri – Sindhudurg, Kolhapur and Hatkanangle will go to polls on 7th May 2024.
· In Schedule 4, voters from a total of 11 constituencies of Pune, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Raver, Jalna, Aurangabad, Maval, Shirur, Ahmednagar, Shirdi and Beed will go to polls on 13th May 2024.
· In Schedule 5, voters from a total of 13 constituencies of Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Palghar, Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Thane, Mumbai North, Mumbai North – West, Mumbai North – East, Mumbai North – Central, Mumbai South – Central and Mumbai South will go to polls on 20th May 2024.
