Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev Undergoes Emergency Brain Surgery; Recovers Steadily
Renowned spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of the Isha Foundation, recently underwent emergency brain surgery at Apollo Hospital in Delhi due to life-threatening swelling and bleeding in his brain. The surgery, which occurred on March 17, followed a period of severe headaches Sadhguru endured for the past four weeks.
Despite experiencing intense pain, Sadhguru continued his regular activities and even conducted the Maha Shivaratri function on March 8. However, his condition worsened on March 15, leading him to consult Dr. Vinit Suri, a senior consultant neurologist at Apollo Hospitals, over the phone. Upon examination, it became clear that Sadhguru needed urgent medical attention, as an MRI revealed significant bleeding in his brain, both chronic and recent.

Despite the urgency conveyed by medical professionals, Sadhguru fulfilled his commitments until March 17 when his condition further deteriorated, causing a decline in consciousness and weakness in his left leg. Consequently, he was rushed to the hospital, where it was determined that immediate surgery was necessary to address the life-threatening swelling and bleeding in his brain.
