Pune: Kondhwa residents grapple with increasing traffic, demand widening of road from Jyoti hotel chowk to Konark Pooram
The residents of Kondhwa have been grappling with severe traffic congestion from Lulla Nagar to Konark Pooram society even further. With the vegetable vendors occupying the space opposite Kubera Park society near Lulla Nagar near Pune Cantonment Board, the road narrows down at Fakhri Hills chowk to Jyoti hotel chowk. The road further narrows at Bhairavnath mandir chowk which often leads to congestion.
Ex MLA of Hadapsar Constituency Mahadev Babar in a letter a year ago addressed the then Commissioner Vikram Kumar of Pune Municipal Corporation asking to open the DP marked roads to ease congestion.

- Augmentation of the east-west 15-meter road spanning S.No. 37, 32, 33, and 29 in Kondhwa Khurd.
- Widening of the 20-meter DP road in the southeastern part of Kondhwa Khurd, S.No. 37.
- Establishing a 24-meter border road along Kondhwa Khurd and Kondhwa Budruk, encompassing S.No. 34, 35, 37, 38, 17, 19, and 31.
