Diljit Dosanjh Praises Allu Arjun and Defies Maharashtra Government’s Warnings at Mumbai Concert: “Aaj Jhukega Nahi
Diljit Dosanjh thrilled his fans during his performance in Mumbai on Thursday night. On stage, he talked about an advisory issued by the Maharashtra government and assured the audience a memorable concert. Currently on his Dil-Luminati tour, the singer has been receiving warnings to avoid songs about drugs and alcohol.
At the Mumbai show, Diljit said in Hindi, “I heard this morning that another advisory was issued against me. Don’t worry, I’ll handle it. I promise you’ll have double the fun tonight. Let me start the show with a thought I had during Yoga. You all must have heard about Sagar Manthan!”
Diljit explained the story of Sagar Manthan, where the gods drank the nectar, and Lord Shiva held the poison in his throat without swallowing it. He shared, “I learned from this that no matter how much negativity people throw at you, you shouldn’t let it affect you. People may try to stop you, but you shouldn’t let it impact your work or mindset.” He also gave a nod to Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, copying his famous move and saying, “Aaj jhukega nahi…”
Fans loved Diljit’s positive energy. One commented, “He always spreads positivity and talks about good changes.” Another wrote, “I admire how you stay positive and inspire others. Waheguru bless you with success, paaji! 🙌🏻❤️”
Before the show, Mumbai’s District Child Protection Officer warned Diljit about promoting drug and alcohol use in his performance. The Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights also asked him not to invite children on stage. After the concert, Diljit posted highlights on Instagram, confidently writing, “I rise above your advice.”
