The Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has revised the exam dates for five major courses after students and parents raised concerns about overlapping schedules with the CBSE Class 12 exams. These changes affect two exams under the Department of Technical Education and three under the Department of Higher Education.

The rescheduling became necessary when it was pointed out that the CBSE Class 12 exams, scheduled from April 1 to 4, clashed with the five-year law CET, which was originally set for April 4. After several appeals, the CET Cell announced new dates through a circular on Friday.

Revised CET Dates:

  1. Five-Year Law CET:
    • Original Date: April 4
    • New Date: April 28
  2. B.Ed. and M.P.Ed. CETs:
    • Original Date: March 16
    • New Date: March 19
  3. M.P.Ed. Field Test:
    • Original Dates: March 17-18
    • New Dates: March 20-21
  4. MBA/MMS CET (Department of Technical Education):
    • Original Dates: March 17-19
    • New Dates: April 1-3
  5. BBA/BCA/BBM CETs:
    • Original Dates: April 1-3
    • New Dates: April 29-30 and May 2

The CET Cell had released a tentative schedule for 19 courses in November 2024 and started the registration process. These adjustments aim to resolve scheduling conflicts and provide students with enough time to prepare for both the CBSE and CET exams, ensuring fairness and convenience.
