On Monday, many people went to Prayagraj for the Mahakumbh festival, including Gaurav Suryakant Rane from Mumbai. Unable to get train tickets and finding flights too expensive, he decided to ride his scooter alone instead. He left Mumbai on January 26, carrying his things and a sign on his scooter saying “Mumbai to Maha Kumbh.”

Following a planned route, Rane is traveling through cities like Nashik, Ujjain, Jhansi, Banda, and Chitrakoot. By Saturday, he had reached Banda after covering 1,500 kilometers. He prefers to travel during the day and stops around 9 PM, staying wherever he can find shelter, whether it’s a hotel or a dharamshala.

During his journey, Rane visited places like Omkareshwar, Ujjain’s Mahakal temple, and Kaal Bhairav Maharaj. He said, “This journey is giving me a new experience in life.”

After participating in the Basant Panchami Snan, Rane plans to return to Mumbai on his scooter. His unique journey is attracting attention on social media.
