Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh: A joyful wedding celebration turned tragic when a woman suddenly collapsed and died while dancing during a sangeet ceremony in Vidisha on Saturday, February 8.
The woman, identified as Parineeta Jain from Indore, had traveled to Vidisha to attend her cousin’s wedding. A viral video of the incident shows her dancing on stage when she suddenly stops, freezes, and falls face-first to the ground.
Family members and guests rushed to her aid and took her to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared her dead on arrival, citing a heart attack as the cause. Her family, however, insists she had no prior health issues.
Similar Case in Telangana
This tragedy comes shortly after a similar incident in Telangana’s Mahabubnagar district, where 16-year-old Sajavath Roja collapsed and died while dancing at her school farewell function. Roja was a first-year intermediate student at Ekalavya Model Residential School.
The back-to-back cases of individuals collapsing mid-performance have sparked concerns about hidden health risks and the importance of immediate medical attention in such situations.
