Toronto, Canada – A Delta Airlines flight crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, flipping upside down on impact. Emergency teams quickly arrived at the scene and safely evacuated all passengers and crew.

Passengers Injured but No Fatalities

The flight, Delta 4819 from Minneapolis-St. Paul, landed hard and ended up on its roof. Eighteen people were injured, including a child. One passenger is in critical but stable condition, while seven others have moderate to mild injuries.

A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) shows the overturned plane with smoke rising from it. A passenger recording the scene said, “We just crash-landed in Toronto… the plane is upside down, but most people are okay.”

Official Response

Toronto Pearson Airport confirmed the accident and said emergency teams responded immediately. Many passengers were taken to hospitals, and airport staff are assisting affected families.

Delta Airlines acknowledged the crash, stating they are aware of the situation. Ontario Premier Doug Ford expressed relief that there were no deaths and assured that local authorities are providing help.
