Aadhaar Card Details Update: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) advises Aadhaar cardholders to update their identity and address information for easier living, better services, and more accurate authentication. Aadhaar holders must upload recent papers to ensure correctness. The UIDAI is pushing anyone who have not updated their information in the last ten years to do so immediately.
To make the process quicker and more accessible, the UIDAI is enabling free document submissions through the myAadhaar portal until March 14. Aadhaar is a 12-digit identifying number that Indian people receive after providing biometric and demographic information. It is connected to biometric data to prevent citizens from having duplicate numbers. Residents’ Aadhaar numbers are unique to their biometrics, which reduces the possibility of fraud and fraudulent identities.
