Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis’s wife resigns as Senior Vice President, thanks colleagues and leadership while signing off from what she calls a meaningful and rewarding career chapter.

Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, has stepped down from her post as Senior Vice President at Axis Bank, ending a long association of 23 years with the bank.
Sharing the update on social media, Amruta said her journey at the bank began as a Management Trainee and grew over the years as she took on several roles, eventually becoming Senior Vice President.
In her farewell note, she said the bank was not just a workplace but a place where she learned, grew professionally, and built lasting relationships. She thanked her colleagues and senior officials for their support throughout her career.

She also expressed special gratitude to the bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Amitabh Chaudhry, for his encouragement and guidance.
