Anand Mahindra recently shared a video of motorsports athlete Gaurav Gill performing exciting stunts like burnouts, doughnuts, and slides with a Mahindra electric SUV. The stunts were carried out at the Mahindra SUV Proving Track (MSPT) in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.

This week, Mahindra unveiled two new electric SUVs: the BE 6e and the XEV 9e, both set to launch in 2025. The video showcasing these cars has received a lot of praise online.
Pricing and Features
- The BE 6e will have a starting price of ₹18.90 lakh (ex-showroom), with an on-road price in Chennai of around ₹20.36 lakh.
- The XEV 9e is priced at ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom), with an on-road cost in Chennai of about ₹23.59 lakh.
Both SUVs will offer two battery options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. They support fast charging, with the 59 kWh battery capable of charging from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a 140 kW DC fast charger.
Mahindra’s Strategy
Mahindra has carefully priced its new electric SUVs to compete with popular mid-range and premium petrol and diesel SUVs like Hyundai’s Creta EV. This move aims to attract budget-conscious buyers while providing advanced features to stand out in the growing electric vehicle market.
The company is also upgrading its dealership network in major cities to prepare for the launch of these SUVs.
Anand Mahindra added a caution to viewers, urging them to “attempt this only with supervision,” as the stunts showcased are thrilling but require professional expertise.
