Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, is known for his impressive collection of luxury watches. A fan of horology, he often wears timepieces from top brands like Richard Mille, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet. Recently, he was spotted with Radhika Merchant wearing one of the world’s rarest watches—the Richard Mille RM 52-04 “Skull” Blue Sapphire.
This watch is highly valued in the world of luxury watches for its rarity. According to the Instagram account The Indian Horology, the RM 52-04 “Skull” Blue Sapphire is available only to select clients of Richard Mille, with just three pieces ever made. A luxury watch retailer, Vintage Grail, described it as so rare that “you’d be lucky to see one in your lifetime.”
The RM 52-04 is crafted from a single piece of sapphire and features a pirate skull and crossbones design in its unique tonneau-shaped case. The Indian Horology explains that the back of the skull acts as a central bridge for the movement, visible through the sapphire caseback. Four bridges shaped like bones hold the movement in place.
This extraordinary watch is priced at $2,625,000, which is about ₹22.5 crore.
