A woman in Bengaluru was caught using her laptop while driving through heavy traffic. A fellow motorist recorded the incident on video, which quickly went viral on social media. As a result, the police fined her ₹1,000 for reckless driving.

Bengaluru, known for its traffic congestion, saw a wave of reactions after the incident. The police traced the woman through her car’s registration details and issued a notice for her to appear at the station. She explained that she had turned on her laptop because her work login time was approaching while she was on her way home.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Sirigowri DR posted on social media, saying, “Work from home, not from your car.” The video sparked a debate about work pressure and safety, with some blaming the woman for being irresponsible, while others questioned if her employer’s demands pushed her to take such risks.

Police have reminded all commuters to prioritize road safety over work deadlines and avoid dangerous multitasking while driving to prevent accidents. 🚗💻❌
