Elvish Yadav, the recent victor of Bigg Boss OTT 2, is currently entangled in controversy as he remains detained in Luxor Jail, Greater Noida. He faces accusations of supplying snakes and snake venom to rave parties, leading to his arrest on March 17. His hearing, scheduled for March 22, awaits in connection with the ongoing case. Amidst these developments, an old video featuring Yadav has resurfaced online, adding another layer of scrutiny to his situation.

In the viral video, Yadav can be heard mentioning various substances, including “hash, cocaine, snake bite,” among others, while seated with friends. The clip, though incomplete, hints at the availability of these substances, sparking speculation about the context of his statements.

The controversy surrounding Yadav traces back to November 3, 2023, when he and five others faced charges under the Wildlife Protection Act and Section 120 B of the Indian Penal Code. They were accused of supplying snake venom to rave parties in Noida. The arrest followed a police raid where nine snakes, including cobras, and approximately 20 ml of snake venom were seized. Despite initially denying the allegations, Yadav was placed in judicial custody for 14 days under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972.

As legal proceedings unfold, the resurfacing of the old video complicates Yadav’s situation further. While the video alone may not be conclusive evidence, it adds to the ongoing discourse surrounding his alleged involvement in illicit activities. This raises questions about his credibility and reputation in the entertainment industry, as well as his ability to defend himself against the charges he faces.

Yadav’s legal team is likely to face challenges in addressing both the snake venom case and the implications of the resurfaced video. With public scrutiny mounting, his future in the entertainment sphere hangs in the balance, pending the outcome of the legal proceedings and the impact on his public image.
