Fadnavis confirmed that the state government has mobilized resources to assist in the rescue efforts. He also revealed that the Nilkamal boat was functioning correctly, but the naval vessel, which was undergoing engine testing, experienced a technical issue. This malfunction caused the vessel’s driver to lose control, resulting in the collision.
To support the victims, the state government will provide compensation from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, and a detailed investigation will be carried out.
