Fire Breaks Out in Mahakumbh 2025 Tent Area; Devastation but No Casualties
A major fire broke out in the Mahakumbh Mela area, destroying more than 200 tents. Firefighters responded swiftly and managed to bring the blaze under control. Senior officials, including mela authorities, promptly arrived at the scene, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also visited to assess the situation.

The fire originated near the Geeta Press camp, between Shastri Bridge and the Railway Bridge. Authorities have cordoned off the affected area, but fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
