From ₹5,400/Month to ₹50 LPA: Pradeep Kumar Saini Shares His Inspiring Journey and YouTube Success

Pradeep Kumar Saini, a tech enthusiast who recently started his YouTube journey, has inspired many by sharing the ups and downs of his career.

He didn’t get into top colleges like IIT or NIT and graduated from a Tier-3 college, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University in Uttar Pradesh. His early career wasn’t easy—he started with a low-paying job, faced a three-month period of unemployment during the pandemic, but eventually reached a job that now pays him over ₹50 LPA.

Pradeep worked with companies like ShopClues, Paytm, HealthKart, and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited. Despite challenges in securing interviews at top companies during campus placements, he never gave up and kept working hard.

“I couldn’t get into IIT or NIT and struggled with placements after my BTech. My first job in 2008 paid just ₹5,400 per month as a web developer in Delhi. For the first six years, I worked in service-based companies. In 2014, at age 39, I joined a product-based company with an ₹8 LPA salary. However, I lost my job during the COVID-19 pandemic and was unemployed for three months. After 10 years in IT, I finally reached a ₹50 LPA salary. Today, I’m a Senior Engineering Manager at a leading media company and enjoy creating content on YouTube,” he shared.

In 2024, Pradeep started a YouTube channel to help aspiring software engineers. He shares tutorials on coding, system design, interview tips, and career advice. His channel has already gained nearly 5,000 subscribers.

“I never gave up and kept learning new skills. I followed a plan, learned from my mistakes, and focused on improving myself. I tracked every step of my journey—both successes and failures—using detailed Excel sheets,” he said.
