Ganpati festival: MSRTC announces 4300 additional buses for Konkan from September 2

This step has been taken by the transport body to cater to the rush of devotees going to Konkan during Ganesh festival.

On the occasion of Ganpati festival, the Maharashtra State Regional Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has implemented measures to ensure smooth operations.

For this, the state transport body will deploy 4,300 additional buses between September 2 to September 17.

This step has been taken by the transport body to cater to the rush of devotees going to Konkan during Ganesh festival.

There are 800 more buses this year as compared to the fleet being operated for Konkan during the Ganesh festival last year to accommodate the surge in passenger demand. In 2023, the corporation had operated 3,500 additional buses.
