Helicopter Enroute To Pick Up Shiv Sena Deputy Leader Sushma Andhare Crashes in Maharashtra

A private helicopter scheduled to collect Shiv Sena Deputy Leader Sushma Andhare met with an accident upon landing in Maharashtra, officials reported on Friday. The incident, which took place in Mahad town in Raigad, was captured in a live video by Andhare. The footage depicted the helicopter attempting to land before it unexpectedly swerved, wobbled, and crashed, creating a cloud of dust.

Remarkably, the pilot was able to escape the helicopter before the crash and survived. However, the helicopter, which was painted white and blue, sustained severe damage. Following the crash, police and rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the site to investigate the incident.

Shaken by the event, Andhare, who was yet to board the helicopter, continued her journey by car to attend scheduled election meetings in the district.
