Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, has made it clear that his younger son Jeet Adani’s wedding will be a simple and traditional event rather than a grand celebrity-filled affair.

Wedding Details

Jeet Adani is marrying Diva Jaimin Shah today in Ahmedabad in an intimate ceremony. The couple got engaged on March 14, 2023, in the presence of close friends and family.

Their pre-wedding festivities began on February 5, 2025. The wedding will take place at Shantigram, the Adani township in Ahmedabad, following traditional Jain and Gujarati customs. The main celebrations will start at 2 PM on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Guest List and Rumors

Despite speculation that global stars like Taylor Swift might attend, Gautam Adani has confirmed that the wedding will not be a lavish celebrity event. The guest list has not been publicly shared, but it is expected to include only close family, friends, and a few important figures from their business circles.

A Wedding with a Cause

Jeet and Diva are making their wedding meaningful by supporting charitable causes. The couple has pledged to donate Rs 10 lakh annually to help fund the weddings of 500 women with disabilities.

To launch this initiative, Jeet met with 21 newly married differently-abled women and their spouses on Wednesday.

Cultural and Artistic Contributions

The wedding will also celebrate Indian artisans. For example:

  • Paithani sarees from Nashik, Maharashtra, are being woven for the guests.
  • Mudwork murals are being crafted by Nitaben from Mundra, Gujarat.
  • Celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra has collaborated with the NGO Family of Disabled (FOD) to create special shawls for Jeet and Diva.

About the Couple

  • Jeet Adani is the younger son of Gautam Adani and works as the Director of Adani Airports. He began his career with the Adani Group in 2019, working in the Group CFO’s office.
  • Diva Jaimin Shah is the daughter of Jaimin Shah, a well-known diamond merchant and co-owner of C. Dinesh and Co. Private Limited, a major diamond company based in Mumbai and Surat.

Gautam Adani had previously announced the wedding date during his visit to Mahakumbh 2025, saying:

“My upbringing and way of life are simple, like any working-class family. Jeet is also here to seek blessings from Ma Ganga. The wedding will be a simple and traditional family event.”
