Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Receives Death Threat; Police Launch Investigation
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has received a death threat through an email, in which the sender threatened to bomb his car, police confirmed on Thursday.
The email was sent from an unknown account, leading to an immediate investigation. Reports say that similar threatening emails were also sent to Goregaon and JJ Marg police stations, as well as the Mantralaya (state secretariat).
Authorities have started a detailed probe, and further updates are expected soon.
