Mumbai, January 17, 2025 –The Mahindra Group has introduced SOAR: Seamless Opportunity for Amazing Returnships, a program aimed at helping women professionals restart their careers after a break. Unlike other programs that focus on short-term roles, SOAR offers full-time opportunities, mentorship, training, and long-term support to help women return to meaningful careers.

Supporting Women on Their Career Journey

Ruzbeh Irani, President of Group Human Resources at Mahindra Group, said, “Women returning to work bring fresh ideas, resilience, and valuable experience. At Mahindra, we want to help them succeed by offering not just jobs but growth opportunities with support and training.”

Who Can Apply?

The SOAR program is open to women who have:

  • At least 5 years of previous work experience.
  • Taken a career break lasting 6 months to 3 years.

How Does SOAR Work?

  • Comprehensive Onboarding: Participants start with an orientation at the Mahindra Leadership University to learn, connect, and share their experiences.
  • Support System: Each participant is paired with a “buddy” and a mentor to guide them as they return to work.
  • Flexible Work Options: SOAR offers flexible work arrangements, like job sharing or part-time roles, to help women balance work and personal responsibilities.
  • Continuous Growth: Regular feedback, one-on-one meetings, and leadership reviews help participants build confidence, grow their skills, and succeed in their careers.

Mahindra’s Commitment to Inclusion

The Mahindra Group, known for its “Rise” philosophy, believes in empowering people to make positive changes. SOAR reflects this commitment by creating an inclusive workplace that supports women returning to work. Through this program, Mahindra aims to encourage innovation, resilience, and growth for both individuals and the community.
