Man Criticizes Poor Facilities at Bryan Adams Concert After Inadequate Toilets Lead to Embarrassing Incident
At the Bryan Adams concert in Mumbai on December 13, Sheldon Aranjo, a diabetic man with incontinence issues, faced an embarrassing situation because there weren’t enough washrooms. Aranjo, a media and entertainment professional with over 20 years of experience, criticized the event organizers for not providing sufficient toilets for the crowd of over 1,000 people.
In a LinkedIn post, he shared his experience, including a photo of his soiled pants. Aranjo said he felt no shame about his condition but believed the organizers should feel ashamed for having only three toilets for so many attendees. He tagged Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and EVA Global Events, the organizers of the concert, in his post.
Aranjo explained that he tried to use the washrooms but found long queues. He was told to go to the other end of the venue, but when he got there, he was not allowed to use those toilets because they were reserved for “Gold ticket” holders. Desperate, he ran toward some trees to relieve himself, avoiding security guards along the way. Unfortunately, he couldn’t hold on and ended up dirtying his pants.
In his post, he wrote, “I PAID to PEE (in my pants) at the Bryan Adams concert,” and criticized the organizers for their poor planning.
Aranjo also mentioned other issues faced by concert-goers, such as long restroom lines, the inconvenience of reloading cash on their invites, and problems at food stalls. He urged Zomato and EVA Global Events to improve their management before hosting more events with international artists.
“Please get your act together before charging us money and treating us poorly. It seems like you’re rushing to start event companies and sell them quickly,” Aranjo concluded in his post.
