Manasi Ghosh has been declared the winner of Indian Idol Season 15, claiming the prestigious trophy and a cash prize of ₹25 lakh. She clinched the title in a spectacular grand finale, outshining fellow finalists Subhajit Chakraborty and Sneha Shankar after weeks of intense competition and soul-stirring performances.

Sony TV confirmed her victory on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “After weeks of music, magic, and moments — Manasi didn’t just win a title, she won a million hearts,” alongside a celebratory photo of the newly crowned champion.

Reacting to her win, a visibly emotional Manasi said the moment still feels like a dream. Known for previously finishing as the runner-up in Super Singer Season 3, this victory represents a significant breakthrough in her musical career. In a conversation with Indian Express, she shared how touching the finale was for her and her loved ones. “My family was crying and cheering at the same time. I was overwhelmed and didn’t know how to react initially. But now we’re all so happy, and the outpouring of love from across the country has been incredible,” she said.

Manasi plans to invest her prize money in building her independent music career and fulfilling a longtime dream of buying a car. Her family, who joined her on stage during the finale, reflected on her early struggles and resilience. They revealed how she had taken on financial responsibilities early in life and now aspires to buy them multiple homes—a gesture reflecting her gratitude and dedication.
