India’s Vande Bharat Express, a semi-high-speed train, is set to add a new stop on its route. Launched in 2019, the train first ran between New Delhi and Varanasi and has since expanded to many key cities. This new stop will make travel easier for people in Mumbai and other nearby areas.

New Stop on Mumbai-Gandhinagar Route

The Vande Bharat Express running between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar will now stop at Anand. This decision has been confirmed by Member of Parliament (MP) Mitesh Patel from Anand.

Why is This Important?

MP Patel worked hard to convince the Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and now the Railways Ministry has approved Anand as a stop. This will bring great relief to people in Anand and nearby regions, making travel more convenient.
