Pune : Fire broke out in Bibwewadi luxury car garage ; 17 four-wheelers gutted in fire ; No casualties reported
A massive fire had broken out in a luxury car garage near Aai Mata Mandir in Bibwewadi on 15th March, due to which 17 vehicles in a nearby garage were burnt. No casualties or injuries have happened.
As per further information from the PMC Fire Brigade, on 15/03/2024 at 3:20 am, upon receiving information that a large fire has broken out in an open space where the luxury car garage near Aai Mata Mandir, Bibvewadi, the fire brigade sent fire personnel from Gangadham, Kondhwa Khurd fire stations to the location along with two water tankers.

As soon as the personnel reached the spot, they saw that the vehicles in the open garage at the place had caught fire. As soon as it was pointed out, the jawans made sure that there were no workers inside and started the cooling operation by spraying water from all sides and brought the fire under control in about thirty minutes and extinguished the fire completely.
A total of 17 four-wheeler vehicles in the garage were burnt in the fire and it is understood that the vehicles of BMW, Mercedes, Range Rover, Skoda, Hyundai and Ford companies had come to the garage for repair work. Also, the name of the said garage is Matin Car Cares. No casualties or injuries have taken place.
Fire Officer Sanjay Ramteke, Kailas Shinde, Fire Personnel Manish Bomble, Mahadev Mangde, Fireman Shailesh Gore, Rajesh Ghadshi, Nilesh Wankhade, Vaibhav Raut, Kunal Khode, Mandar Nalavade participated in this operation.
