Sukumar’s film Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, is making waves at the box office and continues to perform strongly in theatres. Fans are eagerly awaiting its release on OTT platforms, with rumors suggesting it could land on Netflix by the end of January. The excitement grew when it was rumored the film might be available from January 30 or 31. However, the makers confirmed that Pushpa 2: The Rule will only be available on OTT 56 days after its theatrical release.

The production house behind the film, Mythri Movie Makers, officially clarified on December 20 that the movie would not be on any OTT platform for at least 56 days. They also dismissed the rumors of an early release on streaming services, telling fans to enjoy the film in theatres first. The announcement was clear: Pushpa 2 is for the big screen only for now, especially during the holiday season.

Pushpa 2: The Rule sees Allu Arjun reprise his iconic role as Pushparaj, the leader of a red sandalwood syndicate. The movie features intense clashes between Pushparaj and Fahadh Faasil’s character, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, and the return of Jaali Reddy, played by Daali Dhananjaya. The film sets up the story for Pushpa 3: The Rampage, though director Sukumar is still working on the script.

The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil Rao, Ramesh, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, adding more excitement to the story. Fans are now looking forward to Pushpa 3 as the saga continues.
