Randeep Hooda’s Dramatic Transformation for Swantantra Veer Savarkar Leaves Internet Abuzz as Fans React
Randeep Hooda is causing a stir on social media because of his first film as a director, called Swatantra Veer Savarkar, which is about the life of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The movie will hit the big screens on March 22. Before that, Randeep shocked everyone by sharing a picture showing his drastic physical change for the role. Fans quickly compared him to Hollywood actor Christian Bale, who did something similar for a movie called The Machinist.
Recently, Randeep shared a black-and-white photo of himself looking very thin and frail. He was shirtless and holding his phone to take the picture. In the caption, he wrote about his role in the movie and some hashtags related to it. Fans were amazed by his transformation and compared him to Christian Bale again, calling him the “Indian Christian Bale.” Some praised his hard work, while others expressed pride in him.
On March 14, Randeep visited Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak’s memorial and house in Ratnagiri with the cast and crew of Swatantra Veer Savarkar. He posted pictures of the visit on Instagram. Actress Ankita Lokhande, who plays a role in the movie, was also there. Randeep talked about the energy of revolution he felt at the place, where Veer Savarkar and others were inspired to join the freedom struggle. He also mentioned seeing the first flag of Bharat hoisted by Madam Bhikaiji Cama in 1906.
Apart from Randeep and Ankita, the movie stars Amit Sial, Apinderdeep Singh, Mark Bennington, and others. It’s produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, Avak Films, and Legend Global Studio, and will be released in Hindi and Marathi.
As for Randeep Hooda, he has acted in several successful movies like Highway, Inspector Avinash, and Radhe. Despite his talent, he’s not as well-known as some other actors. In an interview, he mentioned doing many films with new directors that didn’t reach the audience.
