Sachin Tendulkar to Play in International Masters League (IML) T20 2025
Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is all set to return to the field in the upcoming International Masters League (IML) T20 2025, a tournament featuring retired players.
The matches will take place from February 22 to March 16 in Navi Mumbai, Lucknow, and Raipur. Five teams—India, West Indies, England, Australia, and South Africa—will compete in this first edition of the league.
Tendulkar will captain India Masters, which includes famous players like Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Naman Ojha, and Stuart Binny.
The 50-year-old “Master Blaster”, who retired in 2013, has played in a few legends’ tournaments but has rarely stepped onto the field. His return has thrilled cricket fans worldwide.
To announce his comeback, Tendulkar posted on X (formerly Twitter), sharing an image of his famous pose—standing with his bat. He wrote, “I AM READY, ARE YOU?” The post went viral, sparking excitement among fans.
Tendulkar, who started his international career in 1989 at the age of 16, holds numerous records and has played a key role in India’s cricket history. Although he remains connected to the sport, he hasn’t played many matches in recent years.
With IML T20 2025 just around the corner, fans are eagerly waiting to see one of cricket’s greatest icons in action again.
