Mumbai: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu reportedly refused an alimony of ₹200 crore after her divorce from actor Naga Chaitanya. The couple, who got married in 2017, officially separated in 2021 by mutual consent.

The topic resurfaced during discussions about cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma’s divorce, where Verma is expected to receive ₹4.75 crore. Comparisons were also made with Sussanne Khan, who allegedly received ₹380 crore after her divorce from Hrithik Roshan.

Reports suggest that Samantha was initially offered ₹200 crore but turned it down. Some sources claim she was given ₹50 crore but refused to take any money. A source stated, “Samantha was heartbroken and only wanted love and companionship from her marriage. Now that it’s over, she doesn’t want anything else.”

Naga Chaitanya Speaks About Divorce

Recently, Naga Chaitanya addressed the divorce on the VK Podcast, saying it was a mutual decision. “We chose to go our separate ways and respect each other’s choices. I hope the media and audience will respect that too,” he said.

He also mentioned that their separation became a topic of gossip but was a carefully thought-out decision. “Coming from a broken family, I know the impact of a failed relationship, and I thought about it a thousand times before deciding.”

Since their split, both have moved on. Reports suggest that Naga Chaitanya married actress Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024.
