Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, the Guardian Minister of Ahilyanagar, has assured devotees that their visit to the Shirdi Sai Baba temple will be safe and hassle-free. He stated that strict measures have been taken to stop any trouble, including a complete ban on beef sales and a crackdown on mischief-makers in the region. These steps aim to create a peaceful and secure environment for worshippers.

Stopping Overcharging and Exploitation

The minister announced that all slaughterhouses in the district have been shut down, and cattle slaughter is now banned. He also addressed concerns about devotees being harassed, hotels charging high prices for rooms, and people taking advantage of visitors during darshan. He assured that these problems have been fixed, making the pilgrimage experience fair and smooth for everyone.

Better Management of Mahaprasad Area

Vikhe Patil also stated that only devotees can now enter the Mahaprasad (holy meal) area at the temple. Previously, some outsiders, including people from brick kiln work and troublemakers, were entering. To stop this, a token system has been introduced for darshan seekers, ensuring that only genuine devotees access the Mahaprasad area.

Removal of Unauthorized Constructions & A New Theme Park

The minister revealed that all illegal buildings on the Sai Baba temple premises have been demolished. Additionally, a new theme park based on Sai Baba’s life and teachings is being developed within the temple institution. This park will offer visitors an engaging way to learn about Sai Baba and is expected to open soon.
