Singham Again Set to Debut on OTT Soon

Rohit Shetty’s action-packed film, “Singham Again,” starring Ajay Devgn, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on December 27, 2024.

The movie, part of Shetty’s famous cop universe, had a strong box office run, earning over ₹100 crores in total. It started with ₹173 crore in its opening week, followed by ₹47.5 crore in the second week, ₹15.65 crore in the third, and ₹6.54 crore in the fourth week, according to Sacnilk.

Star-Studded Cast

The film features a stellar cast, including Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff, who joined the franchise for the first time. Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar reprise their roles as Sangram Bhalerao and ACP Sooryavanshi, respectively. Kareena Kapoor Khan plays Singham’s wife, Avni, while Arjun Kapoor portrays the villain, Danger Lanka. Salman Khan also makes a special appearance as Chulbul Pandey.

Plot and Inspiration

“Singham Again” is inspired by the Indian epic Ramayana, reimagining the story of Sita’s abduction by Ravana. In this action-packed retelling, Kareena Kapoor’s character is kidnapped, leading Bajirao Singham and his team of cops on a mission to rescue her. The movie delivers a thrilling battle of good versus evil, all in Rohit Shetty’s signature style, with a runtime of 144 minutes.

Despite facing competition from Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Singham Again has held its ground and continues to win over audiences.
