Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly was in a small car accident on Thursday near Dantanpur on the Durgapur Expressway while traveling to Bardhaman for an event. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Reports say Ganguly’s Range Rover was driving normally when a truck suddenly tried to cut into his convoy. This caused some vehicles to lose control and collide slightly. Ganguly’s driver quickly applied the brakes, but the car behind him still bumped into his vehicle.

Because they weren’t going fast, the damage was minor, affecting only two cars in the convoy. After about 10 minutes, they continued their journey once everything was settled. Ganguly later attended events at Bardhaman University and the Bardhaman Sports Association, where he expressed gratitude for the invitation and spoke about the importance of sports in the region. Despite the accident, Ganguly carried on with his plans without any problems.
