Strong Message Across Border: BSF Neutralizes Launch Pad in Sialkot
Jammu, May 10 — In a strong response to unprovoked firing from across the border, the Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday confirmed the destruction of a terrorist launch pad in Pakistan’s Sialkot district, near the Looni area opposite Jammu’s Akhnoor sector.
The ceasefire violation began around 9 p.m. on Friday when Pakistan Rangers reportedly opened fire on BSF posts without provocation. In retaliation, Indian forces carried out a precise operation early Saturday morning, successfully targeting and destroying the suspected launch pad used for infiltration attempts.

Visuals released by the BSF showed heavy smoke rising from the site, indicating extensive damage. “The terrorist launch pad was completely destroyed,” the BSF said in an official statement, reaffirming its commitment to protecting the nation’s borders and eliminating cross-border threats.
