Tragic Accident in Taloja Leaves One Dead, Two Injured
On Tuesday morning around 9:45 AM, a serious accident took place on the main road of Taloja Industrial Estate, near Kalamboli. A young man lost his life, and a woman was critically injured. Shocking CCTV footage of the accident has gone viral, alarming many drivers.
The accident happened near the A-One Vadapav stall. Lalu Narad Tanti was hit by a speeding car, driven recklessly on the left side of the road. The driver, Parveen Grover, a 53-year-old from Kalyan, lost control of the vehicle. Tanti died on the spot, while another pedestrian, Pramila Das, suffered serious injuries and is now in the hospital.
The speeding car also hit a parked vehicle and only stopped after the crash. Witnesses said it could have been worse if the car had not stopped. The impact threw the victims 15 to 20 feet away. The injured were rushed to Mahatma Gandhi Mission Hospital in Kamothe for treatment.
The police believe the accident happened because the driver lost control of the car, but they are still investigating. Authorities are reminding drivers to follow traffic rules and drive safely to avoid such tragic accidents.
