Video: Madhuri Dixit Recreates Iconic Look Of Hum Aapke Hai Koun
Madhuri Dixit recreated her look from the song ‘Didi tera devar deewana’ on sets of Dance Deewane. It seems like the show had a Bollywood theme episode shooting today as Bharti Singh went for Jab We Met’s Geet look. Even Bhagyashree was spotted on the set.
The popular film Hum Aapke Hain Koun, starring Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit, was released approximately 30 years ago. It broke records and motivated people of all ages. It also inspired a book called 14 Songs, 2 Weddings & A Funeral (2001), which popularised lavish Indian weddings with vast families and guests. Not only that, but it also established fashion goals that are still being followed today.
In her iconic purple saree, Madhuri Dixit was spotted posing for paparazzi on the set. Interacting with the paparazzi Bharti asked them “Aaj main kya bani hu? (I am dressed like which character today?).” To which joyfully they replied “Cinderella.” This leaves Bharti upset and she then reveals, “Nahi yar, main Geet bani hu, Jab We Met ki. Yar bezzati karwadi, maine nahi dena hai interview (No, I have dressed like Geet from Jab We Met. You insulted me and now I won’t give any interview).”
