Stand-up comedian Abijit Ganguly travels via Mumbai Metro and gets his NCMC card made at the station, but something that he did not expect happened. Ganguly said he expected to travel by metro, but he received an ‘SBI card’.

He posted a picture of the NCMC card with the SBI and RuPay logos along with a detailed narration of the entire occurrence on social media platform X. He wrote in the post that although he was a frequent user of the Delhi metro, the Mumbai metro card’s design astounded him.

He wrote on the microblogging site, “Travelled by the Mumbai metro for the first time. Used to be an avid user of the Delhi metro. Got a card made, and was surprised that had to fill up a form with Aadhar card, pan card, mobile no, OTP n all. But was in hurry so just gave the person what he wanted. Now I’m seeing it’s a full blown SBI card. Saalo metro se travel karna tha, SBI ka account hee bana diya.”

The post got a witty response from social media users. One of the posts read, “Bas ek CVV dedo sir baaki hum nikal lenge (Just give CVV and we’ll see the rest)”.
