Western Railway plans to run two special trains between Mumbai and Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26 for fans attending Coldplay concerts at Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat. These trains, called “winter specials,” are arranged due to high demand. Tickets can be booked on BookMyShow, though it’s unclear if they are only for concert ticket holders or open to everyone.

Departing from Bandra Terminus at 6:15 AM, the trains will reach Ahmedabad at 2:00 PM on January 25 and 1:00 PM on January 26. Return trips leave at 1:40 AM on January 26 and 12:50 AM on January 27, arriving back at Bandra Terminus around 8:40 AM and 8:30 AM, respectively. Stops include Borivali, Vapi, Udhna, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, and Gertapur.

Due to high airfares and fully booked regular trains, these special trains may not meet all demand. For concerts at DY Patil Stadium, special suburban trains between Goregaon and Nerul stations will operate on January 18, 19, and 21, facilitating attendee travel.
