The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is set to announce the Class 12 board results on 21st May at 1 pm. After the declaration, students of Maharashtra Board HSC can view their result cards on the official website, mahresult.nic.in.

The MSBSHSE Class 12 examinations took place from 21st February to 19th March, 2024, conducted offline. To access their scorecards, candidates need to input the accurate registration number or roll number along with their password.

According to the official statement, MSBSHSE is scheduled to unveil the Class 12 intermediate results on 21st May at 1 pm. Once released, students can retrieve their results directly from the official websites – mahahsscboard.in and mahresult.nic.in.

In the previous year, the Maharashtra HSC result for 2023 was announced on 25th May at 2 pm. The exams for this session were conducted from 21st February to 20th March, 2023.

According to the data provided by MSBSHSE, a total of 15,13,909 candidates have enrolled for the HSC examination in the state this year, comprising 8,21,450 boys and 6,92,424 girls. Among these, the science stream has the highest enrollment with 7,60,046 students, followed by 3,81,982 students in the Arts stream and 3,29,905 candidates in the Commerce stream. In the Maharashtra HSC exams of the previous year, the Konkan district recorded the highest pass percentage, with 96.01% of students passing from that region alone. The Class 12 examination was conducted at 3,320 centres, involving 1.80 lakh individuals in the examination process.

To pass the Maharashtra Board HSC exam 2024, students must attain a minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as in aggregate.

To initiate the process of re-evaluation for Class 12 examination answer sheets, students must first obtain a photocopy of their answer sheets and then apply online through the official website of the board. The application should be submitted to the respective Divisional Board within five working days from the date of receiving the photocopy, accompanied by the applicable fee. Those interested in re-evaluating their answer sheets should reach out to the relevant divisional board for further guidance and information.

Anuradha Oak, the secretary of the state board, announced that the application process for the supplementary examination, scheduled for July-August 2024, will commence online from 27th May via the board’s website. A separate circular will be issued to provide detailed instructions regarding this process.
