New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially begun the online registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025. Candidates can submit their applications on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, until March 7, 2025.

Important Instructions for NEET UG 2025 Application

Before applying, candidates should carefully read the NEET UG 2025 Information Bulletin, follow the provided guidelines, and ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. Having the necessary documents in the correct format will make the application process smoother.

1. Confirmation Page is Essential

After submitting the application, candidates must download and keep a copy of the confirmation page as proof of successful registration. Simply paying the exam fee does not confirm registration.

2. No Option to Withdraw Application

Applicants must carefully review all details before final submission, as they cannot withdraw the application once submitted. The exam fee is non-refundable and cannot be carried forward to future exams.

3. Required Identity Proofs

Candidates need to provide at least one valid identity proof. Acceptable documents include:

  • For Indian Nationals:
    • Class 12 Admit Card
    • Aadhaar Card
    • Voter ID (EPIC)
    • Ration Card
    • Bank Passbook with Photograph
    • Passport
    • Any other government-issued photo ID
  • For Foreign Nationals/OCI Candidates:
    • Passport Number or Citizenship Certificate
  • For NRIs:
    • Passport Number

4. Necessary Scanned Documents

Candidates must upload the following documents in the prescribed formats:

  • Photograph: JPG/JPEG format (10 kb to 200 kb)
  • Signature: JPG/JPEG format (10 kb to 50 kb)
  • Finger & Thumb Impressions: JPG/JPEG format (10 kb to 200 kb)
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable): PDF format (50 kb to 300 kb)
  • Citizenship Certificate (if applicable): PDF format (50 kb to 300 kb)

5. Contact Information & Communication Details

Candidates must provide a valid email ID, mobile number, and address, ensuring accuracy. The provided contact details should belong to either the candidate or their parent/guardian.

6. Additional Guidelines

  • Do not use coaching center or cyber cafe contact details.
  • Offline applications will not be accepted.
  • Keep at least four copies of the confirmation page and proof of fee payment.
  • Candidates from Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir must submit an online self-declaration for eligibility under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ).
