Aamir Khan, known for his perfectionism in filmmaking, recently opened up about the challenges he faces in his personal life. While he is admired for his strict discipline on set, Aamir revealed that this doesn’t always extend to his private life.

In a candid conversation with actor Nana Patekar, Aamir admitted to struggling with self-discipline and what he calls his “extremist” tendencies. He explained, “I am always on time for my films, so I am not indisciplined at work. But in my personal life, I am. I used to drink, but I’ve quit now. Back then, if I started drinking, I couldn’t stop. The problem is that I tend to go to extremes. I realize it’s not a good thing, but sometimes I just can’t stop myself.”

Nana Patekar responded by suggesting that Aamir should take on more film projects, acknowledging his disciplined approach to work.

Aamir also shared a personal insecurity from the early days of his career. “I used to worry about my height and feared people might not accept me because of it. But over time, I realized it doesn’t matter at all. Back then, though, insecurities did creep in,” he admitted.

Despite these personal struggles, Aamir remains deeply committed to his career. He is currently working on several projects, including Sitaare Zameen Par, a thematic sequel to the popular 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, alongside Darsheel Safary and Genelia Deshmukh.

In addition to acting, Aamir is producing two films: Lahore 1947, featuring Sunny Deol, and Ek Din, starring his son Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi. These projects highlight Aamir’s dedication to both his craft and supporting new talent in the industry.

Through his honest revelations, Aamir gives fans a glimpse into how he navigates the balance between his personal challenges and professional life.
