Air India Express’ Freedom Sale with Fares Starting at Rs 1,947

Bookings available until August 5 exclusively through the airline’s website for travel until September 30 on domestic and international sectors.

Air India Express, a subsidiary of Air India and part of the Tata group, has launched the “Freedom Sale,” a limited-period offer to commemorate Independence Day on August 15. This sale features fares starting as low as Rs 1,947, with tickets exclusively available through the airline’s website, airindiaexpress.com. The sale is open for bookings made until August 5, with travel valid until September 30 on both domestic and international routes.

Flyers who book through airindiaexpress.com will have access to Xpress Lite fares, which offer the lowest prices starting at Rs 1,947. Xpress Lite fares include the option to pre-book an additional 3 kg of cabin baggage at no extra cost and discounted fees for check-in baggage: Rs 1,000 for 15 kg on domestic flights and Rs 1,300 for 20 kg on international flights.

The airline has also announced special deals on routes such as Delhi-Jaipur, Bengaluru-Goa, and Delhi-Gwalior, along with sale fares across its network of 15 international and 32 domestic destinations. Air India Express loyalty members will benefit from exclusive discounts and can earn up to 8 percent NeuCoins on the airline’s website. Additional deals include up to 47 percent off on business and prime seats, ‘Gourmair’ hot meals and beverages, and add-on packs.

Special discounted fares are also available for students, senior citizens, SMEs, doctors and nurses, and members of the armed forces and their dependents. 

“Xpress Business fares are available on all the new Air India Express Boeing 737-8 aircraft, offering a business class equivalent and disrupting the traditional low-cost carrier model. This aligns with the refreshed Air India Express brand positioning ‘Fly As You Are’,” the airline said. 

Guests can also upgrade to business seats for an enhanced travel experience, featuring a seat pitch of up to 58 inches.
