There is going to be a mega block on The Central Railway in Mumbai. It is likely to cause inconvenience to Mumbai train commuters.

The Central Railway in Mumbai will observe a mega block on Sunday due to the maintenance work being taken up by them. For Mumbai train commuters, this comes as significant news, as it will cause a change in schedule and create diversions, which might become a cause of inconvenience for passengers.
During the block time, special services will be provided between Panvel and Kurla (platform no. 8) and travellers on the harbour line will have access to the Western Railway and main line from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The down fast line services from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai will be diverted to the down slow line and will arrive 15 minutes behind schedule. The down fast line trains will halt at their designated stops between Matunga and Mulund stations between 10.25 am and 3.35 pm.
The up fast line services that depart from Thane between 10.50 am and 3.46 pm will be rerouted to the up slow line at Mulund, where they will stop at the designated intervals between Mulund and Matunga. At Matunga station, they will reroute to the up fast line, arriving at the destination in 15 minutes.
According to the down fast queue, the last local from Badlapur will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus before the block at 10.20 am, while the first local from Badlapur will depart at 3.39 pm after the block.
As per the up fast queue, Ambernath local would arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 11.10 am, being the last local before the block, while Asangaon local would arrive at 04.44 am, the first local after the block.
From 11.40 am to 4.40 pm, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Down Harbour line — Chunabhatti/Bandra, and from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm, Chunabhatti/Bandra — Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Up Harbour line.
The down harbour line services to Bandra/Goregaon from 10:48 am to 4.43 pm and the down harbour services departing from Vashi/Belapur/Panvel from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus/Wadala Road will be suspended from 11:16 am to 4.47 pm.
Up Harbour Line services from Goregaon/Bandra to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus will continue to be suspended from 10.45 am to 5.13 pm, while Up Harbour Line services for Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm will continue to be suspended.
For the Down Harbour Route:
At 11:04 am, the last local to Panvel before the block, will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
At 10.22 am, the last local will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus before the block to Goregaon.
The first local to Panvel would depart Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 04:51 pm following the block.
The first local would depart Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus for Bandra at 04:56 pm following the block.
The Up Harbour route will observe the following:
At 09.40 am, the last local departing before the block from Panvel will head towards the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
At 10.20 am, the last local will depart from Bandra before the block to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
At 3:28 pm, the first local departs Panvel for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, following the block.
The first local will leave Goregaon at 04.58 pm after the block for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
