Cracks On Eastern Express Highway; BMC Says Have Informed Ward Authorities
Footages of severe cracks on the Eastern Express Highway are going viral on social media. In the footage, we can see severe cracks on the road heading towards Chembur from Sion flyover. A social media page Mumbai Matters posted photos and videos of the severe condition of the roads to which Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) replied that they had informed authorities at the ward office.
Taking to X, Mumbai Matters posted, “This is a Highway…. Eastern Express Highway…. which is maintained by @mybmc After Sion Flyover towards Chembur..”
Replying to this post the civic body wrote, “We have informed @mybmcWardFN to attend this at earliest.”
