The Shivneri Sundari attendants will provide personalized care, ensuring passengers’ comfort and needs are met. This enhanced travel experience is designed to mirror the luxury of air travel, sans the extra cost. Passengers can enjoy attentive service without surcharges on ticket prices.
Other significant decisions were made during the 304th meeting of the MSRTC Board of Directors. Trained nurses will be appointed to assist passengers on Mumbai-Pune routes, providing an added layer of safety and care. Additionally, women self-help groups will be empowered to set up 10×10 stalls at bus stations to sell local produce on a cyclical basis, promoting entrepreneurship.
As part of MSRTC’s eco-friendly initiatives, 100 diesel buses will be converted to electric on a pilot basis. Furthermore, the tender process has been initiated for purchasing 2,500 new buses to expand the fleet.
MSRTC’s commitment to excellence is evident in this strategic overhaul. With Shivneri Sundari, passengers can look forward to an unparalleled travel experience that rivals air travel luxury.
“We aim to raise the standard of service and provide quality experience to our passengers,” said Mr. Bharat Gogawle, MSRTC President. This move is expected to boost passenger satisfaction and loyalty.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Madhav Kusekar, Vice President and Managing Director of ST Corporation, Transport Commissioner Mr. Vivek Bhimanwar, and all account heads of ST Corporation.
