New Delhi: A video shared by journalist Suryanshi Pandey about her harassment experience has gone viral, once again raising concerns about women’s safety in the capital.

What Happened?

On February 17, around 10:30 PM, Pandey was walking home from Lajpat Nagar to Sant Nagar when a group of men in a car started harassing her.

In an emotional Instagram post, she expressed relief that the situation didn’t get worse but highlighted how unsafe women feel every day in Delhi. She has since filed a police complaint.

In the viral video, Pandey described how the men shouted inappropriate comments at her, making her feel unsafe.

“Delhi is not safe. I was just walking home when a car full of men started harassing me, shouting, ‘Oye, idhar aa’ (Hey, come here),” she said.

She also recalled another incident where a man on a bike stared at her while singing vulgar songs. She emphasized that she was not wearing revealing clothes, yet she still faced harassment.
