Holi is a fun festival where we enjoy playing with colors and sometimes trying new hair colors. But, it’s important to think about how this can affect our hair. After playing Holi, our hair might feel a bit dry because of the colors used. But don’t worry! By taking care of our hair before and after, we can make it healthy again. Shailesh Moolya from Godrej Professional shares some easy tips to take care of your hair before and after Holi.

Before Holi:

  1. Use hair oil: Put some oil in your hair before playing Holi. This will protect your hair from the colors and make them soft and shiny.
  2. Tie your hair: Keep your hair in a bun or braid to avoid tangles and damage.
  3. Cover your hair: Wear a scarf or hat to keep your hair safe from the colors.

After Holi:

  1. Rinse with cold water: Wash your hair with cold water as soon as you’re done playing. This helps remove the colors without hurting your hair.
  2. Avoid using heat: Don’t use hair dryers or straighteners right after Holi to avoid more damage.
  3. Use a hydrating shampoo: Use a shampoo that moisturizes your hair well. Wash your hair at least three times a week.
  4. Use a hair mask: After washing, use a mask to keep your hair moisturized. A mask with honey is good for cleaning and keeping your scalp and hair healthy.

Following these tips will help keep your hair safe during Holi. Enjoy the festival without worrying about your hair!
