Mumbai Water Supply to be Affected due to Maintenance Work
Water supply will be interrupted in certain areas of K/West and P/South wards due to pipeline maintenance starting from 9:00 am on 22nd May until 1:00 am on 23rd May.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday announced that several parts of Mumbai will face water cuts or low-pressure supply for 16 hours. These cuts will take place on 22nd and 23rd May.
Water supply will be interrupted in certain areas of K/West and P/South wards due to pipeline maintenance starting from 9:00 am on 22nd May until 1:00 am on 23rd May. Additionally, there will be no water supply in certain parts of K/East, P/South and K/West wards during the same period.
The municipality announced that in the K/East Ward, they will be conducting maintenance work involving connecting a newly laid 1500 mm diameter water main with a newly laid 1200 mm diameter. They will also be removing the old leaking 1200 mm diameter water main from the junction of D. Sawant road and C.G. Road to the junction of C.G. Road and Sahar Road in Andheri (East). Following this maintenance, the water levels of Veravali reservoirs I, II and III will be increased, resulting in improved water supply to Andheri (East) & (West), Jogeshwari (East) & (West), Vile Parle (East) & (West).
The BMC has alerted the citizens to utilise water cautiously and to store surplus water. As a precaution, it has also advised citizens to filter water or boil it before usage for the next couple of days.
The list of affected areas is as follows:
1) K/East – Tripathi Nagar, Munshi Colony, Bastiwala Compound, Collector Colony, Durga Nagar, Matoshree Club (Normal supply timing – 08:00 am to 10:00 am) Remarks regarding supply condition – 08:00 am to 09:00 am there will be complete water cut
