Mumbai, July 4, 2026: A major road cave-in occurred on LBS Marg in Bhandup West, opposite the Asian Paints premises, causing panic among commuters and local residents.
The incident happened near a construction site, where a large roadside gutter collapsed. As a result, three big trees were uprooted and fell onto the affected area.
Officials have also warned that a nearby bus stop may become unstable because of the damage, raising concerns about the safety of passengers and pedestrians.
No injuries have been reported so far. Authorities are expected to inspect the site and take immediate steps to secure the area and prevent further damage.
People travelling through LBS Marg have been advised to avoid the affected stretch until it is declared safe.
